WARNING: SOME WHO VISIT THIS PAGE MAY FIND IT OFFENSIVE. FOR MANY, MUSIC IN THE CHURCH CAN BE A VERY SENSITIVE SUBJECT. IF THIS APPLIES TO YOU, THEN I DO APOLOGIZE, FOR I HAVE A GREAT DEAL OF RESPECT FOR YOU AND FOR THOSE WHO'S TRADITIONS DIFFER.
IF YOU'RE NOT A CHRISTIAN, THIS IS NOT A SPIN OFF/NOR DID I RIP OFF THE NAME FROM THE 80'S-PRESENT (TRUE 'TITANS OF METAL'...) BAND; "METAL CHURCH" (R.I.P. DAVID WAYNE). I DO HOPE YOU CAN STILL ENJOY THE MUSIC, CRANK IT UP, HEADBANG AWAY, AND THANX FOR COMING!
IF YOU'RE A CHRISTIAN, WHO LOVES METAL AS I DO, - THRASHFOREVER!!! BUT - EVERYTHING I PRESENT HERE IS TO BRING GLORY TO GOD ALONE. IT IS ALL ABOUT CHRIST. WITHOUT HIM BEING PUT FIRST, THIS IS ALL MEANINGLESS. MAY HE BE GLORIFIED. IT IS MUCH TOO EASY TO GET WRAPPED UP IN THE WORSHIP "EXPERIENCE". I'VE SEEN IT HAPPEN IN WAY TOO MANY CHURCHES.
I PRAY THAT YOU ARE MINISTERED TO... SO PLEASE ENJOY, AND WORSHIP WITH US!!! CHRISTRULES!!! PSALM 150
2 Corinthians 10:4: "For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh..."
OK, let's travel back to the '80's this time and listen to Deliverance... Brothers and Sisters, we are at war. O yes, we really are, and I'm not talking Iraq, Afghanistan, or that sort of thing. However, that all does find it's root in the real war- the war against truth. What is truth? Man, truth is all around you. God made the truth any more obvious... you'd... step in it!! (Romans 1:20). We are at war against an enemy we can't see, an enemy that targets the mind in ways most of us don't even notice; TV, Radio, fashion, music (well, everything except TRUE METAL...right?). The media creates this sort of reality that denies truth, or it tends to relativize it ("what's truth and right for you is cool, but truth to me is different"). It's 'world' created. Nope, man we are in a spiritual war with spiritual enemies, with spiritual purposes. We must be driven to the Gospel for truth. Our weapons must be the Gospel, not nukes.

DELIVERANCE Weapons Of Our Warfare
Imaginations running wild innocent they seem polluting your mind a formulated scheme the battle; it starts in your mind - a lesson to be learned Provoking thoughts only cause the sin that provoking thoughts have earned Cast down imaginations of every high thing that dare exalts itself against the knowledge of God The weapons of our warfare powerful they are No nuclear warfare attacks can bring these strongholds down to take dominion over Satan's own ground Rise up with the sword of God and put your armor on
And the weapons of our warfare aren't carnal
Imaginations running wild innocent they seem they've polluted your mind the formulated scheme the battle; it started in your mind - a lesson to be learned Provoking thoughts only caused the sin that provoking thoughts have earned Cast down imaginations of every high thing that dare exalts itself against the knowledge of God
And the weapons...

NORMA JEAN "Memphis Will Be Laid To Rest"
When I listen to this song, I'm reminded of this passage where Jesus slams the Pharisees for putting on such an outward show of their righteousness for others to see while there hearts were rotten to the core. (Matthew 23:27-28). In the end, their path leads to death. Many churches today are filled with people such as these. The sad thing is, todays postmodern culture is watching, and can spot a hypocrite a mile away. O yes, Memphis will be laid to rest. Kill the image. Amen, Norma Jean!
Memphis Will Be Laid To Waste
Waltz around the room, with a glaze in your stare. In your tuxedo suit. I'll give it a name. Lower defenses. I'll lower the casket. Open the door. Open the grave. Murder. Now you're doing the waltz with your murderer...... Waltz around the room, with a glaze in your stare. In your tuxedo suit. I'll give it a name. Lower defenses. I'll lower the casket. Open the door. Open the grave. Mediocrity is the killer.
You find yourself helpless. Christ is not a fashion, fleeting away. fashion...
He laid emeralds in her eyes, oh but I'd already tried. a bracelet made of gold and scarlet thread around her wrist. and everything was wrong so we sang sentimental songs. Oh how seldom we belong but how elegant our kiss. and we painted crooked lies but we danced in perfect time to a love so much refined, we know not what it is until like a dullen wine we pour into a grief we know before but it's never quite like this. never quite like this. All I know now is regret, it follows like a silhouette along the cobblestone behind me, but has nothing to say except to innocently ask, a voice as delicate as glass, "Do you see me when we pass?" but I continue on my way.
Mortification: Noah Was A Knower
Text: Genesis 6:1-9 and Genesis 7
I love this story! Story may not be the right word, as there is overwhelming evidence to support the accuracy of the Biblical flood account. All over the world, we find similar flood accounts. The Greeks, Hindus, the Chinese, the Mexicans, and many others share a striking similarity to Noa's flood. However, only in the Bible do we have an accurate chronology of events, including the year of the flood. The best part, to me, is that Noah was given life through his faith, and later records his sinfulness. A false document would conveniently skip over those details and paint him to be a saint. The Bible faithfully includes these sinful details. Note: He didn't become a sinner, he WAS a sinner. Just like you and I. How cool!!! By faith, we too are rescued from the wrath to come... Worship with us!
Noah Was A Knower
Noah was a knower, he knew the heart of God Noah was a knower, to build the wooden ark [x2]
All the animals crawling on the ground couldn't help that man had fallen. God looked down with an awful frown, knew he must bring lots of water. Drown the sins there to be found Man had disobeyed his calling. There is someone who is holy, He must work to save the animals
[Chorus repeat]
Noah was praying, just hanging around, shut his face from all who'd fallen. God said build the Ark right now, save the animals from the water. Noah had faith in God's command, even though he'd never seen thunder. Got to working with his family building the Ark
[Chorus repeat]
100 years of banging tools. Laughed at by his neighbours scorn, 40 days and 40 nights Smelly animals all around.
[Middle bit]
God's calling is always a challenge. It may not be what you would seem. But following his ways through life ends up, leading to the mountain top. Heard the animals two by two, Chooks and cows and kangaroos. Close the doors as rain comes down. All his neighbours start to drown. As the boat began to rock, all the sin was washed away. 100 years of real hard work, Noah sat down and had a coffee... Finally the waters went, Noah was on the mountain top. The rainbow came as a new promise, God would show his mercy often.
